Folding laundry is boring, so instead I will witter to you fine people about my day. Such as it was.

I broke another mp3 player, and this is why I will never have an iPod (or, more likely, a Zune, because I dislike iTunes). This is the second cheap little Sansa I've broken in three months, and I think it's probably because I keep putting homemade mp3s on them. They usually start acting funny after I do that. You'd think I'd learn. And breaking a little 30 dollar mp3 player is worlds away from breaking a piece of electronics costing multiple hundreds of dollars. So, no Zune. They don't seem to come in pink anyway, which dims my enthusiasm somewhat.

Here I was going to blather about something else, but I realized I didn't really do much else today, besides some very small fashion-related things. And notice that I've been forgetting my medication again and taking it. How very exciting. Now I'm going to finish the laundry and then go hot-glue a rubber spider to a barrette, because what's a goth girl without a spider in her hair?

How's everyone else been lately? I feel so out of touch.

Edit: Oh hey, mp3 player's working again. Fingers crossed that it stays such.

I have a tiny capacity (250mb) mp3player that I've had like, 7 years or so XD

Lately I have been meshing, and making pregnancy morphs because I am insane lol.

Ha yeah, I only get an hours worth of music on it (I did get brought a bigger one by my parents but... its shit lol)`.

I've got an exploding fat morph on one of my new meshes but I don't know why. And a crack keeps appearing along a join on another in bodyshop that i can't see in milkshape :(

I can't help with the exploding fat morph, but as for the one with the crack: does the crack disappear if you pop the arms up in Body Shop?

If so, it's a bone weight issue. Select all the vertices along where the crack would be, and make sure they're weighted the same.

Yes it does. Not had that happen before (I hardly ever check bone weights because its tiresome lol). It's happening along a join in the arm.

Ack, theres 4 vertices, and 2 are assigned 77/23 and the other 2 are assigned 63/37... how do I know which assignment is right? (I haven't ever paid much attention to how bone weights work either lol)

Just select them all, go to the bone tool, click assign (or assign all, I forget what it's called) and commit all. You shouldn't have to change anything; that's always worked for me.

If there's one thing I love about my super old ipod mini, it's how durable the damn thing is.

I've had it for years. Dropped it a couple thousand times, part of the screen doesn't display so I never know when to charge it, and half the songs I can't actually see their names when I'm scrolling through the menu.

It somehow still works. I'm too cheap to replace it anyway.

And a spider barrette sounds way too cute ^_^

Whoa, now that's resilience. I drop mine pretty regularly, but it dies after too many falls.

I think you're smarter than I am, because I have made my way through multiple iPods through the years. Somehow I manage to nuke them whilst under warranty though, so I've only actually had to repurchase once. Still. Best of luck with the next one!

My main deterrent to an iPod, after price, is iTunes. I am Set In My Ways and don't want to switch to it. So I keep buying cheap little Sansas. XD
