Post-birthday party, I have more gift cards than I know what to do with, including several to places like J. C. Penny and Kohl's that I will never, ever find use for. (Unless they happen to be having a shoe sale. I could probably find a pair of shoes I'd wear.) Fortunately, some of them are to useful places like Borders and Barnes & Noble, so perhaps this weekend I will use the hell out of those. 'Perhaps', because my sister's commandeering one of the parental units to take her to Hocking College for a tour, and it's approximately three and a half hours away from us. Even better, the appointment is at nine in the morning, so they should have a jolly time getting up at five-thirty to drive downstate.
Tim has decided after all to stay in Arizona instead of going back to Illinois, so I'm not quite sure what's going to happen with us. September is off, naturally, because a plane ticket to Phoenix is quite a bit more expensive than a bus ticket to Gary. We will see. But I've got something lovely to look forward to in September (<3), so I'm not as down as I could be.
Tonight I plan to get all my internet shopping taken care of. On the list is the CPU (so hey, this may actually be a sim journal again soon, hurrah), more hair dye, and these (yeah, I know they're at Hot Topic, but LOOK AT THEM).
Something of a job prospect is on the horizon. Hopefully it'll come through, as it is nearly an ideal job-- typing and printing things out. Dull, yes, but I can type like nobody's business, and it would give me lots of time to think. Not to mention money.
My sister and I have spent the last couple evenings watching Los hombres de Paco with English subtitles. It's her current favorite show (purely because of Pepa and Silvia) and I've been enjoying it too, though cop shows usually aren't my thing. And now you are all caught up on the recent doings of

Gaaaah... I had neon pink hair before and it was wonderful! (I hope that link works...) I've also done purple.

That pink looks fantastic! As does the purple. I'd love to see the red/orange mix if you happen to take any pictures of it.

My greens have always stayed brilliantly.
