Me, play Sims 2? Perish the thought!
It's true, I've been.. wait for it.. actually playing. GoS has been finicky about letting me access it, for some reason, so I've been forced to find other means of entertainment. You lucky ducks get to see what I did.
I decided that, having well over 200 poster recolors all told, I ought to have a sim open a poster shop, especially since my first batch of teens will be heading off to college soon, and they'll have dorm rooms to decorate. So I created Edwin Dartmouth here, who's actually just my selfsim genderswitched and made over.

That's Edwin, the befuddled-looking fellow attempting to chat up Sab, the woman in yellow vinyl.
Edwin. You're wasting your time, man. She doesn't go for guys.
Here's his happy home, poster shop below, apartment above. I built it from scratch. It was a good reminder as to why I never do that.

He neglects his back yard, although since he lives in my downtown/university/seedy side of town combo, he ought to be praising some deity on bended knee that he even has one. As it is, it's choked with weeds as well as full of junk and a FFS Lot Debugger.
I didn't bother taking any pictures of the shop, as it's just a big empty space and tons of posters crammed onto the walls, though I think if he starts making money he may branch out into comic books or somesuch too. He strikes me as a hopeless nerd.
Decorating the apartment, I went with (at least by my standards) less is more in terms of cluttering, as (theoretically) Edwin will have a girlfriend moving in at some point, and I want it to be functional. I think that's a vain hope, seeing as if it ends up being who I think it will, she'll be bringing loads of junk with her. But anyway, picspam:

WHY NO, IT IS NOT RAINING IN THE HOUSE. WHY DO YOU ASK?

I didn't bother photographing the bathroom, as it is both tiny and spartan.
Edit: I just caught this, and it was too good to pass up.

Beetle sees what you are doing, Edwin Dartmouth. She dislikes that you are hogging the teenage vagoo. Cease and desist; she has killed for less.
In terms of sims it's been a decent enough night. Now if I could just get on a more normal sleep schedule.

Mind if I ask where you got the fold-out couch...bed? I've been searching like crazy for one, but remain unable to find one.

As for the bed, you can find that here in the booty (http://paysites.mustbedestroyed.org/booty/tsr/simaddict99/object_sets/low_budget_wonders/).
