Not that I expect anyone to care,
but this meme floating around my flist caught my interest, so here goes.
It smells like pie.

Obviously.
2. Would you do meth if it was legal?
No, I'm one of those weird people who has no interest in drugs. It started because I wanted to be an opera singer and I can't be fucking up my lungs with smoke, I am terrified of needles, and more than just a few sips of alcohol makes me vomit. Screw drugs, sex is better.
3. Abortion: for or against it?
For it, though I try to stay out of debates about it.
4. Do you think America would fail with a female president?
lolwut. Seriously? I think it would depend on the female in question. We would certainly fail if I were president, but that's due to my lack of political background and knowledge, not my vagoo.
5. Do you believe in the death penalty?
I want to say yes, but something won't let me, so no. No I don't.
6. Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
Yes. I wish most drugs would be legalized already so people will stop making such a fucking fuss about it.
7. Are you for or against premarital sex?
For. It's not my business who you sleep with or when you do it.
8. Do you believe in God?
Agnostic atheist. So.. sort of.
9. Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?
See #7.
10. Do you think it's wrong that so many Hispanics are illegally moving to the USA?
I get torn both ways on this one. On the one hand, I wish the goverment would take care of its own citizens before allowing more to move here, but on the other hand the conditions in their own country are often downright terrible, so who can blame them for trying to get somewhere better?
11. A twelve year old girl has a baby, should she keep it?
God, I hope she doesn't, but it's not my decision.
12. Should the alcohol age be lowered to eighteen?
I don't especially care, since I seem to be allergic to anything stronger than a wine cooler, but sure, why not. You can get sent off to die but you can't drink alcohol? Seems a mite fucked to me.
13. Should the war in Iraq be called off?
I kind of want to leave this one blank, because I don't really know enough about the situation to say, but.. no. I support our troops, although I wish there was an alternative to invading and death.
14. Assisted suicide should be illegal: do you agree?
No. I believe it should be legal, on the condition that the assistee is conscious and/or sane enough to make the decision for themselves.
15. Do you believe in spanking your children?
I have spanked my kids, but only when nothing else has worked, and I've never done it to hurt them. It works as a shock technique when they absolutely refuse to listen. I would rather slap myself in the face than spank them, but sometimes talking to them or (unfortunately) yelling is not enough. I prefer to send them to time out, though. It's pretty stupid to spank your kid and then say "NOW DON'T HIT YOUR BROTHER AGAIN!" Talk about hypocrisy.
16. Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars?
Yeah. There's a lot I'd do for a million dollars.
17. Who do you think would make a better president? McCain or Obama?
At this point I'd really rather set them both on fire.
18. Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
If they haven't already judged me by the music I listen to or the color I dye my hair or the rambling on about nothing I'm prone to, I doubt this will make much difference one way or the other.
That wasn't especially controversial. We've covered at least half of it on GoS already.
I bought a Halloween costume today, even though since I'm in the wrong state I can't take the kids trick-or-treating. My main criteria when purchasing a costume are 1) that it not make me look fat and 2) that I won't be ashamed to wear it again in public sometime in the future, since it's rather a waste to shell out forty or fifty bucks for something I'll only wear once.
With that in mind, I am a 'gothic devil'. From what I can tell, it is 'gothic' because it's mostly red with black detailing, and 'devil' because a headband with little felt horns was included as an afterthought. I have no intention of wearing that, but how could I pass up a red corset dress with a tulle skirt and black puff sleeves?
I will totally wear it out in public past Halloween. Not sure what that says about me. Probably that I enjoy embarrassing my family.
