I've been holding off posting because I've been working on a short story I'm going to toss up here when it's complete. It's still got a bit to go and I felt like spamming something with pictures, so I'm posting them instead.



Isolde Morterwell's house. Same structure as Thalia's house, because I like it. (Tracked its origin down; you can find it here.)



Isolde. She's happy to see us. The fangs are due to certain vampiric tendencies. Not of the Maxis type, because those piss me off. She runs the local gas station, which is actually more of a convenience store that I'd put in Thunder Valley way back for decoration, rediscovered in my lot bin, and decided to use instead of building an actual foodmart.

Not a spectacular amount of clutter down here.

She proposed to Rosalyn today, so whenever they both roll up a marriage want-- oops, sorry, that's 'joined union', goodness, we mustn't be offensive-- they'll be moving into a bigger place. Not exactly sure where. So far Gladsheim is mostly crammed full of small, falling-to-pieces shacks on 1x1 and 1x2 lots. I must pick over plasticbox's lots again.



On another note, I recently discovered Ego Likeness's side project, The Trinity Project (i.e. I finally scrolled all the way down the music page). And uh, wow. Donna Lynch can be pretty fucking creepy when she wants to. Had a bit of a hard time sleeping after listening to 'If I'm Not Careful I'll Start to get Scared of the Walls' right before bedtime. Shan't be doing that again.

Short story to come in a day or two, I expect. Sim things to follow soon after.

Very nice. I especially like the random head on the cabinet in the living room and the big ass pic in the kitchen. I giggled. Also, I am apparently the only person alive who has yet to play with ceilings in AL. I've always been slow, hehe. Also, you know twojeff's has an awesome same sex marriage hack that fixes that annoying union crap, right?

I was vaguely aware of it, but not who made it. I shall get it immediately, I'm always more offended by the fact that it's 'joined union' and not marriage than I would be the other way around.

I actually don't have AL yet, waiting on hacks to be updated, so that's just JGWhiteus's ceiling, but I love it to pieces. Placing it piece by piece sucks ass, but at least you don't have to carefully aim the camera to avoid getting the sky when you take pictures.

That should read "twofeff's site" but anyway, yeah it's awesome. Also, Pescado, LordDarcy and twojeff's have most of their hacks updated for AL, so if that's what you were waiting on, get thee to MATY (and simbology, ahem, hehe.)

I'm not a regular picture taker really, otherwise I would be abusing the hell out of the new ceilings. I remember the pain of the few times I did try to take pics and trying to keep the sky from showing above the bedroom. I should start taking more pics actually, I'm a little bored with gameplay right now and I've always wanted to join goodbye_sun's simfics50 and simgenix comms. They look like much fun but I have yet to get my lazy ass in gear and practice overlays and the such.

Ugh, overlays drive me nuts. They're the best thing ever when you get everything timed right and synced up, but until you do you usually want to go break something. (I do, anyway.) I'd love to see more pictures from you, though! Your decorating is always so beautiful.

InSim was what I was waiting on, mainly, but it's been updated, so I'll probably install AL soonish. Not entirely sure yet. I want it, especially for the magic, but I'll have to kick so much CC.

Aww, aren't you nice to say so, it's a big deal coming from The Clutterphile! And yeah, the posing stuff looks irksome, that's why I haven't tried yet, well that and the utter lack of inspiration. Also, I forgot to mention it earlier, but that's a cute little neighborhood you have there. Small lots ftw.

Thank you! I actually don't think there's a single lot larger than 2x2. Possibly 2x3 at the very outside. Though the neighborhood itself is ridiculously huge. My game will fall in on itself and explode long before I use it all.
