azaya | (no subject)

I know, I know, I haven't uploaded anything since June and this is just some lousy painting recolors. But mostly I've just been redoing some of my old hairs in v3 and the new colors and most people aren't as rabid about v3 as I am so I haven't bothered posting them.

Anyway, I love this mesh of Aviolina's, but I wanted more options than just the default texture so I made some! And then I got a couple of PMs asking where they could be found and decided to share.

I'm especially fond of this mesh because a cluster of frames on one mesh makes decorating easier. I don't mind using snapobjectstogrid false, but this is so much easier than carefully layering pictures. Anyway, most of the textures came from Weheartit or tumblr, so I'm not sure of the sources, but none of them are my artwork.

You can see two textures in the first picture, and here are the remaining ones:

I don't think this is a terribly common mesh, so to refresh your memory, the mesh is in Paintings, costs 75, and the default texture looks like this:

The mesh is included, and it's called AJSH_ThreePictures, but there's actually four, as you can see. idk.

And more paintings. Because why not? I love this painting of Yuxi's, but needed some textures more in line with my own tastes (i.e., eclectic and weird), so here they are! In case other people would like some eclectic and weird paintings in really fancy frames.

Like the other set, these textures mainly came from Weheartit and tumblr, and the original sources are unknown. And here they are! One or two can be found in the other set of paintings:

The painting mesh is slaved to the mirror mesh, both of which are included. Yuxi's frame recolors are not; the only frame color included is the default gold.

I'm kinda surprised more people aren't up on v3, actually. The community at large seems to be shifting toward Maxis match, and while I don't think the texture is particularly Maxis matchy I've seen a lot of people say that they think it is.

I like MM, but not on hairs, really. It doesn't seem like the Maxis textures (which is a good thing imo). I think the V3 textures aren't so shiny but are quite lovely.
