It is probably the power supply. Unless it's the power supply and the motherboard. In which case it would thusly be the power supply, the motherboard, and the graphics card, because Tim has like four motherboards but none compatible with my graphics card. Oh the weeping there will be.

Because of course there hasn't been any yet. Let's go with that.

If it doesn't get fixed before Saturday, then don't look for me until the Sunday two weeks from now. I'm going to see Tim and the anklebiters, and we are all going to pretend the internet doesn't exist and have Happy Snuggly Family Time.

(I've often found that threatening said recalcitrant computer with a sledgehammer/screwdriver/Apple catalouge to be surprisingly helpful, if not in getting it to work, then relieving the RAEG involved :P)

You could always claim the twisted lump of scrap metal is a fabulous piece of art that is the uh, 'physical manifestation of the frustrations with the mondern world', sell it for a few grand and buy a new shiney? XD

(It sadens me that that is how the art world seems to behave sometimes :( )

Modern art depresses me, most of the time, for that very reason. There are some pieces I like, but for the most part it seems so.. cynical, I guess.

I'm 20 (nearly 21, but eh). The kids are my boyfriend's from a previous relationship, but I consider them mine too, and so do they. Their biological mom is a shit.

MY MAGE IS STUPID AS HELL. I have him set on aggressive wizard and he casts burning hands at the worst time. AND he's in the back, so no only has the monster been killed already, HE LIGHTS EVERYONE ELSE ON FIRE. I can't even tell you how many times this has happened.

"Adoptive" parents like that are some times best anyway. I bet you're a great mom. :D

Oh dear XD; That's one reason I rarely give them Burning Hands. I tend to focus on Magic Missile, unsurprisingly. I've got a sorceress in a tabletop game who will probably mostly cast Magic Missile and little else, once the game gets going.

Are you playing IWD or IWD2? In both cases I usually give my characters a script so that I can leave them to their own devices, but tend to micromanage my casters to avoid that sort of situation.
