Somehow, after spending two days (non-consecutively) setting up a picture EXACTLY AS I WANTED IT, I managed to take it with a glaring error.

Evidence of my fuckery here. )

In the course of trying to replicate it, I did get a few other shots I liked, and thought I'd share without spamming GoS's picture board. As usual, it appears that set building is my strong point, and that I must lurk moar in discussions of sim posing.

Moar pictures! )

Aaaand finally, after two more hours of fussing with the sims and trying to recreate the original pose, I gave up, booted up Photoshop, and proceeded to give it a half-assed repair. The results are visible but tolerable, and I saved a layer-separated version in case I feel like going back and dicking with it some more.

The result! )

Never again will I push Print Screen without first checking to make absolutely sure nothing is highlighted. This isn't the first time this has happened, sadly.

They plague me.

Whilst attempting to take pictures of two sims together, occasionally one of them will, for no reason whatsoever, will jump halfway across the room (still in pose). The remaining one, who is likely positioned on a magisplay tray, will stay stationary, but the shot will be ruined anyway because the antsy sim is no longer actually attached to their footprint and moving them becomes impossible.

So far it's only happened with Decorgal, but since I'm using Decorgal until I get better at syncing two animations, it happens rather frequently.

I wish I could reach into the screen and slap the sims silly, sometimes. (Whoo, alliteration.)
