What is with all the simbabies lately.
More spam. Another wedding. More amusing than Jack and Lydia's (I spent that one going "AWWWWW..." and most of this going *snerk*), and much briefer.
Megan popped a bump today. After I finished laughing, knowing how angry she must be (least loving, maternal, wifely sim I have ever had), I sent her and Jacob (the daddy) off to the square.
There's a bit of history with these two. Feel free to skip it if you don't care. Megan's a driven, devoted writer-type. Jacob is a pleasure sim, need I say more. Despite falling in love pretty much from the get-go-- they live in the same makeshift duplex, makeshift because I didn't have Apartment Life when I built it-- Megan held herself aloof and Jacob, in turn, dated half of Gladsheim. When they finally started dating, Megan still refused any advances, except, curiously, when the date timer was going. Evidently the baby was the result of them getting it on during a date while I wasn't watching.
Anyways. Some wedding spam.

O hai wedding arch, I'm the wedding dress. Don't mind me clipping through you.

The blushing, delicate bride.

So very, very out of character.

Uh.. nice to see you supporting your friends there, Archie.

Jack, being typical.

She redeemed herself a few moments later.

The bride and her BFF, just tossing the old pigskin around.

I will say this for Megan, she's suddenly a lot more autonomously lovey-dovey. I didn't get a picture of it, mostly because I was staring at the screen in surprise, but the first thing she did after the ceremony was squeeze Jacob. And here she is initiating some hand-holding. ...And Archie is still jumping rope.

And, randomly, a shot of Gladsheim, because I remember saying I was going to take one, though not in what context. (The hood terrain is actually huge. This is just one little area, which serves as my main playing spot and my downtown. The college is across a bridge, and across another bridge in the other direction is farmland and countryside. And there's another area I haven't decided what to do with yet. o.o)
I have to move all these new couples into houses or apartments big enough for them. In some cases this means building from scratch. I hate building, admittedly because I am bad at it. I think I'm going to pick over plasticbox's lots some more instead. Gladsheim, I confess, is entirely composed of lots either by plasticbox, loco-plus, MsBarrows, Maxis, or me. (Possibly one or two community lots brought in from VJ Development or Sims Crossing, I don't remember.) What can I say, I like tiny lots. They are easier to stuff full of clutter.
